APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED FOR FOOD VENDORS

October 11, 2017 – The Stars & Thunder Timmins International Fireworks Competition & Music Festival 2018 Steering Committee is inviting applications for the operation of outdoor food concessions.

Vendors have the option of being considered for setup in the General Admission area or an area exclusive to the VIP area, and additional details can be found in the application form located on the Tourism Timmins website.

Successful proponents must be able to satisfy the Porcupine Health Unit Special Event Application, as well as Timmins Fire Department Requirements for Motorized or Mobile Food Service Equipment Facilities. Also, the ability to accommodate customers per event with minimal line-up must be shown.

“Unfortunately, one of the issues we ran into last year was the limited amount of food vendors,” explained Manager of Tourism and Events Guy Lamarche. “However, we are hoping the outstanding success seen by last year’s vendors will be an attractive draw for new vendors this year.”
