DISCOUNTED CHILDREN’S TICKETS FOR STARS AND THUNDER NOW ON SALE

February 13, 2018 – Following Council’s recent approval, discounted children’s tickets for Stars and Thunder are now on sale.

There are a limited number of tickets available, for children 10 and under, so we are encouraging those who are interested to purchase soon, while supplies last. There are 500 tickets per day for individual day passes available for $25 and 2,000 8-day passes for $100. These tickets apply to the General Admission area only, and children’s ticket holders must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Those wishing to purchase VIP will pay regular price.

“This was done based on requests to make the festival more affordable for families to attend together,” explained Mayor Steve Black. “The committee heard concerns, reviewed festivals around the province and decided to make the change to make Stars and Thunder more affordable for families. We also look forward to having more food vendors on site, which should also improve the quality of experience at the festival. We will be announcing more details on this aspect soon.”

Those who have already purchased General Admission tickets for children will be issued a refund following the purchase a children’s ticket in place of the original.

For online ticket purchases, people can contact Front Gate Tickets directly at 1-888-512-7469 or visit http://support.frontgatetickets.com and send through an email. Those who purchased hard copy tickets during the pre-sale at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex or at City Hall will need to purchase a children’s ticket at City Hall, at which time a refund will be processed for the original purchase.
