WINTER PARKING BAN IN EFFECT

October 31, 2017 – Please be reminded that the winter parking ban takes effect tomorrow. Beginning November 1, until April 30, any vehicle parked on the street between the hours of 11:30 PM and 7:30 AM will be subject to a $50 fine and the vehicle may be towed at the expense of the owner (unless you are in an area exempt from the winter parking ban, in which case, signs would be posted stating such).

Additionally, during winter months, Public Works regularly performs snow removal and it is important that you ensure your vehicle is not on the street when winter road maintenance signs (yellow and red in color) are posted.  Any vehicle found interfering with snow removal will be subject to a $50 fine and the vehicle may be towed at the expense of the owner.

IMPORTANT: Please do not expect a knock at your door to advise of winter road maintenance, the signs posted will be considered sufficient notice.  Look for signs posted on your street to ensure parking has not been restricted in your area.  Fines and towing charges are costly and avoidable.
