COVID-19 Christmas Lockdown
As per recent direction from the Government of Ontario our City will enter into a lockdown effective 12:01 am, Saturday, December 26, 2020. To that end here are some of the services which will be affected during this lockdown period.

City Hall will be closed to the public however will continue to offer its regular services through our centralized system at Service Timmins.

All indoor cultural and recreational facilities including our arenas, the museum, the Sportsplex pool, community centers, etc. will be closed to the public but outdoor activities such as our outdoor ice rinks and skating path will still be available for use by the public subject to maintaining two (2) meter physical distancing.

Please be advised that all other services provided by the City (ie: Public Works and Public Utilities, snow plowing/snow removal, waste management including access to the Deloro landfill site, Timmins Police Service, Timmins Fire Department and Timmins Transit) will continue to operate during the lockdown period. The Timmins Public Library will also continue to operate offering curb-side and contactless services and on-line services.

For inquiries about what this means to your City services please contact Service Timmins at 705-264-1331.

We would like to thank all citizens who have been working hard to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community, and remind everyone to continue being kind to one another through these challenging and uncertain times. Together we will get through this.
