City Congratulates Living Space
With the recent announcement by Living Space to launch a primary care clinic for people experiencing homelessness, the City of Timmins would like to congratulate Living Space as well as thank the partners for this collaboration.

“This is great news for Living Space and the people in our community experiencing difficult times”, said Mayor George Pirie.  “We have exceptional people in our City willing to put in the work and help those less fortunate.  These clinics will help provide basic necessities of life.  By doing so, we can help these people back on their feet and ideally away from homelessness. By aligning the services needed, we are one step closer to ending homelessness.”

The addition of new services from the Timmins Academic Family Health Team, which includes Dr. Marion-Bellemare, Dr. Samson, Dr. Armstrong as well as Dr. Clark, will include general and physical assessments, sexual health, immunizations, diabetic care and referrals as required.

Service providers already assisting Living Space including Rainville Foot Health, Canadian Mental Health Association, Pearly Whites Plus, CAST Clinical Services, and Porcupine Health Unit.
