City of Timmins Public Works have made temporary repairs to a collapsed sewer line that has shut down Airport Rd. between Lamminen Ave. and Riverpark Rd. The sanitary issue did not result in sewage discharge or major residential concerns.
Airport Rd. will remain closed between Lamminen Ave. and Riverpark Rd. until further notice while permanent repair is planned. Households and businesses will be notified of any necessary service disruptions as work proceeds.
Motorists are being detoured down Riverpark Rd. along Suzanne St. to Lamminen Ave. Local traffic only is permitted to access McChesney Rd.
