2020 fire permits required as of July 1 
June 24, 2020 - The Timmins Fire Department would like to remind residents that new, residential fire permits are required as of July 1, 2020.

Earlier this spring, the Timmins Fire Department made the decision to extend all fire permits purchased in 2019, honouring those permits until July 1, 2020. Residents who were issued 2020 permits but who have not yet paid are also reminded that the amount is due on or before July 1.

Residential fire permits are $25 per year, and are typically valid for the period of January 1 to December 31 for each year of purchase, and can be purchased for up to three years at a cost of $75.
Payments can be made by money order, bank draft or cheque and mailed to:

Please include the following information:
Name, address, phone number and email address

If you do not own the property on which you wish to burn, you must obtain written permission from the property owner. This includes property which you are renting.
