Temporary Closure of City Hall and Municipal Facilities 
City Hall and municipal facilities will be temporarily closed to the general public as of 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021. City staff will be available to conduct business over the phone or online.

Please be advised of the following closures:
• All arenas and the Archie Dillon Sportsplex pool are closed and all scheduled programming is canceled until further notice.
• The Timmins Public Library and C.M Shields Centennial Branch will be closed to in-person visits during the shutdown, however computer use, photocopying and faxing services will be available by appointment at the Main Branch starting Tuesday April 6. Curbside pickup, virtual programs, phone and online services continue. Wi-Fi is available outside at both branches.
• The Timmins Museum: NEC is closed and all in-person public programming has been canceled until further notice.

City employees remain committed to offering centralized services through Service Timmins:

• After-hours emergencies should be directed to: 705-264-1201

We remind the public that a variety of City services can be accessed from home. Service Timmins can assist with lottery and licensing, by-law enforcement, leisure services, roads and sidewalks, tax, water and sewer, waste management, provincial offences and parking.

Vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel required to ensure the continuity of business will be allowed access after undergoing a screening process at all City facilities.

The City of Timmins will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and follow direction provided by the Federal Government, Provincial Government and public health officials.
