Evelyn Township Landfill – Temporary Closure

Please be advised that the Environmental Services Department, Waste Management Division is informing residents that the Evelyn Township Landfill will remain closed due to excessive snow accumulation, which has made access to the site unsafe and impractical.

We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we monitor conditions. The site will be reassessed on Monday May 4, 2026, and updates will be provided as soon as access is possible and safe to reopen.

Environmental Service Department would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding while we wait for the site to become safe.
