Service Updates:
Timmins Transit On-demand microtransit service has been suspended due to on-going staff shortages. This is a temporary measure until new drivers have been on-boarded and have completed training. We will provide updates on the return of Transit On-demand when available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our valued Transit riders.
Effective October 1, 2024, Route 16 is returning to Schumacher, South Porcupine and Porcupine! All the original Route 16 stops will be serviced.
With this change, Route 101E and 15-minute frequency between Timmins and Porcupine will be suspended.
Residents can still use Timmins Transit On-Demand for fast service in South Porcupine and Porcupine!
Timmins Transit bus tickets and passes are now sold at Timmins Square Lotto located inside Timmins Square at 1500 Riverside Dr. Tickets and passes available during lotto booth hours.
