Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Lifted - West of Mattagami River Bridge

The City of Timmins Environmental Services Department wishes to advises all users west of the Mattagami River Bridge that the precautionary boil water advisory issued on Sept. 2, 2026, has been lifted.

The City of Timmins has conducted the required water sampling and the results have been reviewed and deemed satisfactory by both the City and Northeastern Public Health.

The precautionary Boil Water Advisory was issued following a watermain break that caused temporary loss of water service and water pressure to users west of the Mattagami River Bridge. The advisory remained in effect until two consecutive sets of drinking water samples confirmed that the water met all required safety standards.

City staff would like to thank residents for their patience and cooperation.
