Timmins Fire Department Lifts City-Wide Fire Ban
Effective Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., the Timmins Fire Department will lift the city-wide fire ban declared on June 4, 2026.

The ban was put in place due to lack of precipitation and extremely dry conditions. With the current forecast, open-air burning can resume; however, a fire ban may be reinstated at any time if conditions change.

The Timmins Fire Department urges caution and reminds residents to never leave a fire unattended. Fire hazard status will continue to be closely monitored.
