Bridge Improvements to Begin on Golden Avenue 
Construction work on the Golden Ave. bridge in South Porcupine will begin the week of May 4.

Golden Ave. will be closed to all traffic between Legion Drive and Goldmine Rd. for the duration of the project, which is expected to wrap up early fall. Access to Doug McLellan Park will be maintained. Motorists are asked to follow posted detours via Bruce Ave.

The project includes concrete rehabilitation of the existing box culvert, waterproofing of the bridge deck, new asphalt paving, drainage improvements, and the installation of a new roadside traffic barrier.
