Bio:

I was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario until pursuing post-secondary studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where I studied Mining Engineering. These studies led me to Timmins and work at Kidd Mine on a co-op program where I signed an offer to return to Timmins for full-time employment following completion of my studies.

I previously served two terms in municipal politics. From 2010 to 2014 I was a councillor for Ward 5. I then went on to run for Mayor in 2014 and became the youngest person elected as Mayor in the history of Timmins. In 2018, I returned to the local mining industry where I worked as Project Manager for Kidd Mine’s Mine 5 Extension Project. I am now Manager of Business Development for Dumas Contracting Ltd.

I hope my past experience and leadership roles allow me to support the incoming Mayor and Council in a positive way that will help the city grow and prosper. I have always maintained that the community must remain focused on improving infrastructure and quality of life to attract people and jobs to the region and help the city grow. The best way to alleviate the tax burdens in the municipality is to grow the community and attract additional residents.
