Bio:
Born in Schumacher, raised in South Porcupine with the last 20 years in Timmins, I have deep roots in our community. As an indigenous person from a francophone family, I have developed a unique perspective of the City of Timmins.
This unique perspective, alongside a Business Diploma from Northern College, means I am always working towards a better economy. I learned by work ethic long ago during my time at the now closed ‘Met site’.
For 9 years I was at the forefront of indigenous economic development with Nishnawbe Aski Development, today I am the General Manager of Attawapiskat Enterprises in their Timmins office, helping and driving economic growth and opportunity directly. I am also involved in several non-profit boards and committee including the Northern Ontario Angels which is focused on entrepreneur and private capital investing. I am always looking for a challenge and way to assist people with a vision.
I find my motivation through my family and young children. A strong, vibrant, and healthy City is essential and encourages our families to grow and prosper.
