The City of Timmins remains committed to achieving a collective agreement that meets the needs of riders, residents, and our Transit employees. We recognize that delivering safe, reliable transit is a core service for the community, and will continue to work towards an agreement that is fair and equitable.
Current Offer:
1. A base rate adjustment for drivers of 4.5% and a base rate adjustment for mechanics of 8%.
2. Stacked on top of those increases, a 4-year deal with a 3% economic increase annually.
3. Benefit changes included increases for holiday pay premiums, optical coverage, safety footwear, and enhancements for vacation for long-service employees.
