Traffic controls, signage, and temporary traffic signals are installed and managed by the contractor. Segment 13 requires lane reductions only to carry out rehabilitation of the road and underground infrastructure from Crawford St. to the Porcupine River Bridge.
Motorists should be prepared to reduce speed through all active work zones and follow posted construction signage.
Update - September 14, 2026
All traffic will be shifted to the two (2) north-side traffic lanes east and westbound in order to accommodate pulverizing of the centre lane and south-side lanes, as well as final water main crossings. Shift begins at Lawrence St. intersection and ends at the bridge.
