Project Details:
This project will rehabilitate approximately 2,060m of transmission watermain to ensure stable and adequate supply of water to the west end of the city. This work is a priority because the Connecting Link project is planned in this area for 2027 and 2028. Completing the watermain rehabilitation ahead of that work is essential to reduce the risk of future breaks that could disrupt the roadway. This project also includes new water valves to improve water control and hydrants to enhance fire prevention.
