Using public transportation is a great option while navigating roads with construction and detours. It helps reduce road and traffic congestion, putting less vehicles on the road and helping with the flow of traffic through busy detour routes.
During construction on Segment 9, the following temporary changes to ROUTE 9 and ROUTE 16 transit services will be made:
Both Route 9 and Route 16 will turn south from the main Timmins Transit Terminal on Spruce St. S > turn left onto Second Ave. > turn left onto Brunette. Bus will stop at Food Basics and Hollinger Park.

All stops between Brunette Rd. and Hwy. 655 are closed due to road construction.
