Project Details:
The City is investing $3.3 million to expand the airport departure lounge, renovate the security screening area, and update the terminal’s exterior façade. The project is the first phase of improvements recommended in the Airport Master Plan to support future passenger growth and improve the travel experience. Construction is being completed in phases to minimize disruption and maintain airport operations.
The project is intended to improve accessibility, passenger comfort, and circulation during busy travel periods. The improvements support the City’s Airport Master Plan, which projects that passenger traffic will increase by approximately 1.1 percent annually over the next few years.
