Parking Enforcement

The City of Timmins enforces parking on City streets and municipal parking lots to help ensure the safety of streets, sidewalks, and to support traffic enforcement. 


Overnight parking is not permitted in any of the City of Timmins parking lots.

Winter Overnight Parking Ban:  By-Law No. 1983-2004 s.6(4)(a)     - The overnight winter parking ban goes into effect on the 1st day of November and ends on the 30th day of April the following year. The parking ban is in effect from 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the following morning. Absolutely no parking is permitted on the street, on boulevards, or in City-owned parking lots during this time. The only exception is where there are clearly marked and posted City of Timmins "Parking Permitted" signs.
