HotSpot Parking App
The City of Timmins has partnered with HotSpot to offer convenient mobile parking payment options. You can use the HotSpot app to pay for hourly parking at City-owned parking lots and meters and more. HotSpot is available to download from Google Play and App Store. All existing parking payment methods (pay stations and meters) will remain available. You can also choose to pay for your monthly parking pass or any parking tickets in person at Service Timmins.

Purchase Downtown Parking Passes
Purchase your monthly downtown parking passes through the HotSpot app. The app will send you a notification when your pass is about to expire and allows you to automatically renew.
Membership
If you are a regular parker, you can purchase a monthly or annual HotSpot membership and save the $0.20 convenience free per parking session. For downtown parking passes, there are no additional fees.
Payment Options
HotSpot uses a virtual wallet system that can be topped up using Mastercard, VISA, or VISA Debit. The wallet system makes it easier to pay and helps you reduce transaction fees.
Refund Time Left on the Meter
If you have time left on the meter when you return to your vehicle, you can end your parking session and receive a refund direct to your virtual wallet, or choose to donate the refund to our local United Way.
