Climate Safe Communities Toolkit

The new Climate Safe Communities Toolkit is a practical and community-focused resource designed to help residents, organizations, and and educational institutions become local Climate Champions to prepare for the growing impacts of climate change.

The toolkit equips residents with the practical tools and strategies to respond to the challenges of climate change.

Become a Community Climate Champion. We are asking residents to work with us to build a stronger, safer, and more climate-resilient community. Complete the action checklist and use the toolkit to take simple yet meaningful climate actions that strengthen sustainability and resilience in Timmins. As you check off each action, you’ll be making a real impact. Need guidance? Each category includes a dedicated page with supporting actions to help you achieve your goals.

Complete and submit the Climate Action Checklist for review and approval to the City of Timmins at [email protected] to receive your Climate Action Champion Certificate.
