The City of Timmins is hiring election officials. Apply for a temporary, paid election position for the 2026 Municipal Election. Eligibility
You can work as an election official and/or at a Voting Place if you are:
- At least 18 years of age or older as of election day;
- You are eligible to work in Canada;
- You have a valid Social Insurance Number; and,
- You are not a candidate or the spouse, sibling, parent, child, grandparent or grandchild of a candidate running in the October 26, 2026 Municipal Election.

Download and complete the included application form. Return the completed form along with a copy of your current resume by email to [email protected] or in-person to Service Timmins in City Hall during regular business hours Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
