This list of unofficial candidates is provided by the Clerk and updated weekly between May 1, 2026 and August 21, 2026.

On Nomination Day, August 21, 2026, after 2:00 p.m. the Clerk shall examine each nomination paper filed and, if satisfied the person is qualified to be nominated and that the nomination complies with the Municipal Elections Act, the Clerk will certify the nomination paper.
As per the Act, when the Clerk rejects a nomination, notice is given to the person seeking nomination and all candidates for the office. The Clerk's decision to certify or reject a nomination is final.
By 4 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, the clerk is to examine candidate nominations and if satisfied, certify the nomination. s.35(1),(2)
By 4 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, the clerk is to declare candidate(s) elected by acclamation. s.37(1).
