Introducing the new Timmins Transit YOUR Way app! Your single source of transit information and trip planning tools for Timmins Transit conventional and paratransit public service. Plan your regular transit trip and see step-by-step directions for the most efficient way to reach your destination. Set up alerts for arrival times and access any transit-related information, like service updates, at your fingertips. 

Plan your ride with a tap of the button. Track the location of your bus in real-time. Receive an alert when your bus is approaching.

How to Ride with the Timmins Transit YOUR Way App

Download the app for your device from the App Store or Google Play. 

Create an account (optional)

An account is not necessary to plan your trip, but it provides additional features like saving your favourite trips and setting customized app alerts. For paratransit trips, only registered paratransit users will be able to book accessible door-to-door service (see Paratransit Service).

1. Open the app and tap Register

2. Enter your mobile phone number 

3. Enter the 5-digit verification code sent via SMS

4. Complete your profile by adding your first and last names, profile photo (optional), and email address (optional)

Plan your trip

1. Enter your starting point and destination

2. Provide your rider information

3. Get a notification so you know when to expect your ride and which bus stop to use

4. Use the app to watch for your bus, or receive a text to know when your ride will arrive in real time

5. Meet your bus!

Tips (optional)

Allowing the following permissions when prompted may improve your app experience.

• Location access: Set to "always" to receive accurate trip information
• Notifications: Enable to make sure you don't miss important trip updates
