The City of Timmins is currently accepting student applications for the summer of 2026 in the following departments:

  • Clerk & Community Services (Cemetery, Enforcement Services, Facilities Management)
  • Financial Services
  • Golden Manor (Administration, Nursing, Maintenance)
  • Growth & Infrastructure (Building, Planning, Engineering)
  • Information Technology
  • Public Works & Environmental Services (Roads, Traffic, Environmental Services, Administration)
  • Timmins Fire Department
  • Timmins Public Library
  • Timmins Transit

Can I apply?

Only students attending a post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis will be considered for employment. The City of Timmins will require that eligible students provide proof of current full-time attendance in post-secondary education.

Students must also be returning to school in August or September of the same year (2026) in order to qualify for employment.

A valid driver’s licence (Class “G2” or “G”) is required for some positions.
