The Corporation of the City of Timmins is committed to and will continue to making its services and infrastructure accessible to people of all abilities.

Over the past several years, a number of improvements have been made to the accessibility of our municipality.
 • Accessible washroom to Timmins Victor M. Power Airport
 • Accessible swing to Lonergan Park with paved parking lot with accessible parking spots
 • Ramp and accessible viewing area to the Hollinger Grandstands

Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee (MAAC) advises City Council on matters pertaining to the accessibility of persons with disabilities as set out in the Ontarians with Disability Act (ODA), 2201 and the implementation of accessibility standards as set out in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005 and Regulations.

Accessibility Feedback / Contact Information

The City of Timmins welcomes public input. It helps identify areas where changes need to be considered and ways in which we can improve the delivery of accessible goods and services. Feedback may be provided by telephone, in person, in writing or by e-mail. If a complaint is received concerning the accessibility of the City's goods and services, the appropriate Department manager / director will review the information and provide a response.

The City of Timmins welcomes comments and feedback on the accessibility of our programs, services and access to goods for persons with disabilities living in our community. Your feedback and comments help the City identify where changes need to be considered and ways in which we can make the delivery of our municipal programs and services more accessible to residents in our community living with disabilities and improve accessibility at our municipal facilities.
All feedback and comments received on this form are sent to accessibility@timmins.ca where they are received and reviewed by staff and if appropriate are forwarded to departments for review, action and response if requested or required.
